The party that Heidi and Renata put together for Halloween was an enjoyable one, though I must say I really am not one for celebrations. The point of this party was to get us a meal in a rather unique way and it worked. I daresay I won't need to feed for awhile, which is refreshing. I'm afraid my bout of socializing is coming to a close. It becomes harder and harder to see love around the castle. Renata and Santiago, Afton and Chelsea, Aro and Sulpicia, Caius and Athenodora. Why have I been punished? What did I do to deserve Didyme taken away from me?
I will never know the answer it seems.

Felix as requested backup, so I am sending him Corinthia. He reports that the newborns are learning quickly, so hopefully this little matter will be taken care of in no time.

Things are...strange around here. I have no idea what Aro is thinking and Caius is becoming increasingly more paranoid. Sending that poor Felix boy back to Seattle all alone. Something is bothering my fair haired brother, and I don't think he wishes to discuss it with Aro around. Therefore, I'm sending Aro and Sulpicia on a little trip. Hopefully Caius will be able to speak more freely and I'll be able to ease his fears. I do not wish to see my family so upset.

My dear sister, how are you fairing now that we are home? I am dreadfully sorry that your vacation was not what you expected. So, I have a surprise for you and my dearest brother. Now I must admit, I did not come up with this idea on my own. It was the young Renata's excited journal entry that gave me my idea. Since she and her new mate, Santiago had such a lovely time at the Ville D'Este that I have personally booked a private Villa for you and your husband for 3 nights. The limo will come and pick you up tomorrow evening. Enjoy yourselves. Get things back on track. When you return home, I expect to see a change in your bond with each other.

I have booked a private villa for three nights starting tomorrow for Aro and Sulpicia. So if there is anything you wish to discuss with me, those three days would be the perfect time to do so.

Did you really kiss a human, brother? I would have never cheated on Didyme had she lived. That would explain the change in emotions that I have felt in the castle as of late. Though I do wonder why you're not as close to your shield lately. Maybe she's mad at you on behalf of Sulpicia?
When will we be leaving, brother? I request permission to bring along my personal guards Chelsea and Afton. Is that acceptable?
